The Lincoln Hotel and Apartments
This project is an adaptive re-use and renovation of the Lincoln Mill building in downtown Biddeford which was one of the many active textile mills that were part of the large Pepperell Mill Complex along the Saco River. The building, which had fallen into significant disrepair, has been completely restored and reconfigured into apartments and a boutique hotel along with a variety of commercial and retail uses on the ground and lower levels. The renovations are designed in accordance with National Park Service preservation standards allowing the owner to benefit from state and federal tax credit programs.
In addition to providing over 150 apartment units, the 33 room hotel includes a grand main lobby area with seating areas, a bar and library. New exterior features include a curved glass and steel entry canopy at the main entrance and rooftop amenities including a swimming pool, bar, and performance area.
